A Better Look At Sensa

There is no dearth of weight loss products in the market.  We can find such in the form of herbal teas, supplement pills and other forms which are usually taken independently. A product that sets apart from this usual trend is Sensa. Since it does come different from the others, it has drawn much attention. Such popularity  has brought in lots of Sensa reviews found in different sites in the web world. But sadly, not all of them say the  truth about such product. So it is worth delving into the details of the product so as to be able to inform the people, in the right way.

Product Info
Sensa  is a weight loss product that is sprinkled onto the food that is about to be consumed. The product consists of crystals,  which looks like sugar or salt. This product is also referred to as the “sprinkle diet”, coined from how it is used.  It is not exactly a diet since it does not require a specific food plan.

This product works to suppress the hunger of the consumer by a phenomenon called as “sensory-specific satiety”.  The crystals, also referred as the “tastants”, trick the brain by triggering the body to feel full. The feeling of fullness is elicited by the signals sent to the brain by the sense of taste and smell. These senses will perceive that the food is tastier than it really is. The components of the products include Maltodextrin (easily digestible carbohydrate), Tricalcium Phosphate (a calcium salt, claimed to have a weight loss effect), Silica (ingredient that makes up its crystal structure) and Natural and Artificial Flavors.

Does It Work?

Some Sensa Reviews claim that product works, while some does not. So there is no absolute answer for the question. However,  the company has backed the claimed effectiveness of the product through  a 6-month research that they have conducted, with positive results for the participants, claimed to lose about 15 percent of their original weight.

Are There Risks?
There seem to be risks that come with every health product. Some Sensa reviews do not mention its side effects, but we know for a fact  that being unaware of the side effects of products that we consume could put us in unfavorable situations. Sensa, as with other dietary products , did not  go through FDA regulation. However, the ingredients it contains  are considered by FDA as generally safe. But that does not assure absolute safety of the product as a whole. There have been reported side effects of the product and they include:
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Dry Mouth
  • Allergic reactions
  • Stomach pain
  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Constipation
  • Gall Bladder problems
  • Rectal Bleeding
  • Intestinal Blockage
  • Pain in the kidney area

Conclusion
These are the info about Sensa that should be known by the people who wish to buy the product. It is up to you  to decide if the product is for you or not, but be sure that you have taken the time to evaluate the details and testimonials about the product so as to not to waste time and money and above all, not to be in danger.
